You are worthy of love exactly as you are … but, do you know HOW to love yourself?

Most of us are missing the mark when it comes to self-love. We think of it in vague terms of self-care or fantasize about a blissful, never ending experience of profound self-acceptance.

But, how do we actually create a loving and secure relationship with ourselves?

In order to love ourselves, there’s a profound truth that needs to be embraced: to truly feel loved, we must feel, seen, heard and accepted as we are.

This can be tricky, of course, because we’ve learned to ignore, repress and judge our emotions, needs and desires. We avoid the cues and feelings in our bodies and hearts by escaping into our thoughts. 

We’ve become deeply disconnected from our real moment to moment experience of life.

And, when we do pay attention to ourselves, it’s often in a sort of judgmental and objectifying way.

This is how we’ve been conditioned, but these are not the conditions under which real self love can thrive.

Real self-love requires us to reconnect. It requires us to lean in, to listen, and to honor all that arises within us.
